You find that at the time when Elisha came to resurrect the Shunamite’s son, he told him²⁷³2K. 4:29.: Take my support staff in your hand and go, and if you meet a man do not greet him, or if a person greets you do not answer him. But he did not do that, but when a person met him and asked, from where and to where, Geḥazi? He told him, I am going to resurrect the dead. This one would tell him, only the Holy One, praise to Him, can resurrect the dead, as it is written²⁷⁴1S.2:6.: The Eternal kills and gives life, brings down to the pit and lifts up. He went there and did not do anything. He returned to him and said to him, I know that if he really were dead, he would not wake up through you.
